SMS messages are text messages such as those sent by your mobile device. How much does an SMS message cost to send?
SMS pricing varies from country to country but in the UK and globally we offer very competitive rates per message. We can quote you for this in line with your requirements.
How long can an SMS message be?
Globally a standard single SMS is limited to 140 characters per message. Our SMS tool offers this at present but you can also add multiple messages over the 140 character limit.
Can I use saved messages at a later date?
Yes! From your dashboard you can view, edit and send messages at any time to suit you. This way you can use the same messages as a template, such as a pizza promotion, which can then be sent for as long as the offer is running without having to recreate your message.
Is there any reporting on the SMS messages I send?
SMS Reporting currently displays the number of messages sent successfully to your list, and the number of failed and queued messages.
I never received my SMS although the system says it was sent. Why is this?
SMS is less auditable than say emails. Once the message leaves us and goes to the carrier it is their responsibility to deliver this message through their network however if they are having an issue, an example would be the network failing or having broken coverage, there is no information relayed to us that an issue was encountered. This is a global situation and we believe strongly the networks require a more robust reporting mechanism and should be held accountable for any failed deliveries in their system.
What format should my telephone numbers be in to send a successful SMS campaign?
This will vary if your sending SMS messages globally. Here in the UK, our mobile telephone numbers have 11 digits.
International mobile device numbers outside of the United Kingdom require a country code prefix beginning with a + symbol. An example of this is if you were sending to South Korea the country pre-fix code would be; +82
