The majority of marketers make the decision to start and email marketing campaign only to find they do not have the targeted addresses to contact.   1. When visitors arrive to your website, ask them to sign up for your newsletter, competition or event. Offer a chance for them to opt-in in as many places as are aesthetically possible. This can include; your website, blog, facebook page, Pinterest, twitter or linkedin pages. Your email signature and transactional emails or invoices to name but a few.

  2. Ensuring your emails can be forwarded and shared on social media can help you reach more people than ever before and would involve no extra work from you.   10. Hire telemarketers to contact potential customers. They should gather their email address by offering coupons, a free trial, etc.

There are numerous other ways for you to build your list. However, if you use these ideas you will find that you will have a growing list in no time at all while you think of more ideas that are creative. Building a qualified list does take time however; this is the most cost effective and legal way for you to create a high quality list.
